I have been in the web design and development sector for over 10 years, working on various aspects of design and build. I've always had a passion for design and coding and enjoy creating various sites through HTML, CSS and Javascript, especially Wordpress & Bootstrap sites. I also design websites, illustrations and apps layouts in Adobe Creative Suite & Sketch.
Easy to follow. He explains really well. This is a real project sample with a lot of useful tips and practices.
It was pretty good in the beginning and mid parts, but towards the end, specifically animation section. need to be updated. The sites this course referred to are not around anymore but the github is still around. Also the related website to the aforementioned github doesn't have what is shown in this video or is not easily found. The new website encourages a direct link to the cdn which still didn't work for me so I did not get any animation practice at all in this course.
I really enjoyed the quick lesson on responsive bootstrap page creation. This will help me out alot on creating my personal project
A great course for beginners . Elaborate explanation , well paced and have included lots of major features one must know regarding bootstrap.
But the text is horribly small and drags down the whole quality of the lecture set. Provided set of codes do not serve the purpose.
Many concepts have been unnecessarily repeated . Could have been avoided . styles.css too needs to be more tidy.
Covered a lot of material, very quickly but thoroughly. Andy moves fast, so don't be afraid to use the pause button when needed. Course followed a solid pattern and felt very natural after just a few lessons. Feeling very confident to jump into more advanced projects now. No significant HTML or CSS experience necessary, just a small understanding of each will do.
This was a good course, as advertised: the instructor guides you through making one page (with many different Bootstrap components) and was a good into to Bootstrap 4, I was able to get pretty much everything I was hoping to. The videos and downloads are all written for Bootstrap 4-alpha, but I used Bootstrap 4.5.3 and had no problems. Some of the downloadable code examples seem out of date compared to the videos, and some times you can see the older code in the videos, but what he covers and types out if correct: use that. He covers a little CSS as well (to customize the page) and that was good too.
Very good introduction. Speaker talks a little too quick some times so I would have to pause, rewind and listen to some areas multiple times.
It was a godsend suplement to my web programming course at university, thank you so much!
This course was a lot of fun. It was engaging and the end result was a very satisfying example page.
