Abdulrahman Alshammari
Imagine a world where people wake up every day inspired to go to work and return home at the end of the day feeling fulfilled by the work they do, feeling that they have contributed to something greater than themselves. Abdulrahman Alshammari, 19 years old, is a self taught, self employed optimistic computer programmer, he graduated from Keebra Park State High School in Australia. that's why he has always been helpful and thoughtful about everything. as a result he received the Keebra award for striving to help others in need. There is a saying that i like: "If you don't build your dreams, someone will hire you to help build theirs." - Tony Gaskin. Abdulrahman truly believes in building self knowledge from scratch, he values what successful people had done to get there. When he first started his technological journey, he was interested in making mobile games, so he learnt the basics of gamesalad and corona SDK, he also tried UNITY 3D. but soon enough he discovered that game development in general require a large team, lots of money and time that he couldn’t afford at the time. So his path got shifted slightly to web development, he started by learning HTML and CSS, then learning the basics of JavaScript, after that he got excited about the opportunities that PHP and MYSQL had in them being a backend server language. He dove head first into the language. He believed in “learning by doing and using what you learnt to create something useful”. Abdulrahman is creating courses teaching students how to use the knowledge they have to create something meaningful.
