It would have been a bit better to show examples of a site NOT on a local server, less confusing for beginners.

For a quick, free guide to WordPress backup options, requirements, and restoration strategies, this was a great course. I now have a great start to begin tackling these kinds of tasks with my clients.

A backup restore tutorial, for each backup type plugin, would have been nice.

For the FTP-client data transfer, that boat sailed away some 25 years ago. Now the access method is SFTP, SCP or rsync (over ssh). Updraft-light seems to lock SFTP out, but nevertheless, FTP is kinda not too current no more. I do use and understand the use of FTP in internal and closed networks, but usually people host stuff around and nowdays plain FTP might not be available anymore.
