About This Course

How To Be Successful And Stay Out Of Prison (The “How To” Course On Making Ethical Choices)

Achieve success through an ethical pathway

A lot of “good” people find themselves getting fired, or even arrested, and have to ask, “How did I end up here?”

You likely didn’t wake up today and make a conscious decision to NOT steal a car or rob a bank. However, you have already made thousands of choices, and those choices have an impact on your life and the lives of others. This course shows you how to recognize and apply the important traits of being trustworthy, reliable, and honest in your professional and personal life.

Within the next five years, you could remain stagnant, become independently wealthy, or end up in prison. What determines your future has everything to do with the choices you make today. Understanding ethics can do more than help you decipher what is right or wrong. If you understand and apply the laws of ethics, you will consciously make decisions that will inevitably lead to your success.

Topics covered include:

  • Making better decisions

  • Recognizing the difference between taking advantage of an opportunity, and making unethical rationalizations

  • Avoiding the “slippery slope” that starts innocently, but can ruin you and your reputation

  • Recognizing your motivations and the connection between need, opportunity, and rationalization

  • Bringing about good consequences from your behaviors and choices

Ethics are at the core of truly successful businesses. Learn to make ethical decisions to navigate your way through choices you make every day.

I found this course very interesting, and Chuck's stories, especially his own, compelling. It's not the boring ethics class I've taken past years for my landscape architecture license requirement. Having my own business in sustainable LA/ecology for the past 32 years, the small section about cheating the company wasn't applicable. I'd just be cheating myself.
The course helps me better understand people; our process of making good choices. Also - and I like visuals - the 3 legged stool creating a strong foundation for unethical choices.
His outlook on real success in life I find true, in part. In my work and personal interests, I think success is not only the impact you have on other PEOPLE's lives, but also on other species and the planet. Thank you.

This was a great course as it gave the reasoning why people make unethical choices.

I like the conversational tone.
Found an imbalance between the lady's softer voice and stronger voice of the gentleman. Often missed her question as the volume was set for his voice.

This course is a good fit for me. The Lecturer Humanized Himself by sharing his misfortune which occurred as a result of poor decision making. This course reinforced how important it is to always do the right thing. The reward is that you'll be glad that you did.
