this course has a lot of great tips on navigating around Windows 8 & 8.1 and how to access all the programs (e.g. control panel) that I was used to in older versions of Windows. I'm looking forward to the Windows 10 course.

Just got a laptop with 8.1. Never had a computer with 8.0 or 8.1. Now with this class I can use 8.0 or 8.1 with no problems.

Could this Lecturer be any more boring! After only two lectures I was falling asleep. I don't know If I can even finish the course as his tone of voice & how slow he progresses is very bad.

This is very helpful! I am in IT and I work at a Real Estate company, most of the agents bring in their own machines and they need to use our document center. I do not have a Windows 8 machine myself yet, but many of them do. Although I am self taught and have been doing this stuff for years. I have felt lost on their Windows 8 machines. Not any more!

This operating system lets you experience a mobile computer for its promising excellent features! Though if you're a new user, might be a complicated one. But once you get started, you'll be used to it and will keep you going.

As a non windows 8 user, this might be a complicated one for me, because we are all used to the consistency of Microsoft features. But this Windows 8 is different, for me, this is one of the best OS I have used. Giving me the opportunity to upgrade along with this lecture you will be able to cope with the new version easily, all details were tackled and explained clearly. Take this lecture and you'll find out that windows 8 is worth upgrading! :)
