Excellent! A very well crafted and presented course in Blender core skills.
Although I'm using the last version of blender v2.83.4, this has been a quite useful intro as most commands work the same.
My Company decided to get rid of all the non essential workers, due to Covid-19 pandemic to reduce to expense cost. So i had decided to start my own Graphic design business and getting certificated from the Business account. Also the Lecture were super nice and easy to understand. Thanks Billy.
The biggest problem with this course it's that the version of Blender is old. So the uder interfact is completely different from the current version.
This course is amazing, as of now is covering my expectations perfectly fine!
Much more comprehensive than I envisioned, everything is satisfactorily explained and demonstrated for the modelling sections!
But here's the problem, there are no sections on materials, textures, colour, applying graphics, lighting or even simple animation.
There also don't appear to be any recent updates - meaning the last couple of years!
How is this Blender 3D Complete?
I am only on the 3rd lesson, but the instructor is taking it slow and methodically. This is a great pace for a true beginner (I have never opened Blender before)! The course is informative and easy to follow along with.
The presenter is less enthusiastic than some of the other instructors I have had in other Udemy (and Udacity) courses. His presentation is a little dry.
However, that's not necessarily a negative toward the course. Just a personal observation. I would also like to see him answer the quizzes. Yes, you can go back in the videos
to verify your answers, but the absolute correct answers from the instructor are a good reassurance in case there are any doubts or ambiguities.
*After half of the course, I upped the rating to 4 stars because I am definitely learning new skills and enjoying the course. Can't wait to actually use the new set of tools I have learned.
* At the end of the course I have learned a lot I probably wouldn't have known about. So many little tricks and options in Blender! This course was well worth the price.

Needs updating. Blender is now on version 3.0 and the UI is now almost completely different to this tutorial.
