About This Course

Use Adobe Spark Post, Page and Video to create graphics, webpages and videos to promote your ebooks and online courses

Adobe Spark really is a game changer for authors, content creators and online instructors

***** Last UPDATED in November 2016 *****

Consisting of three mobile apps and a browser-based web application, which incorporates all three components, Adobe Spark is the only integrated web and mobile solution for creating and sharing impactful visual stories.

And unbelievably it is completely FREE!

Create Your Promotional Materials both Quickly and Easily

This masterclass takes you through all aspects of Adobe Spark and begins by looking at ideas for how self-published authors, online teachers, content creators and other creatives can take advantage of this incredible application by quickly and easily creating promotional materials to sell their products.

The course continues with an overview of each of the three components to get you up and running, so you can learn how to:

  • Create professional looking images for all of your social media channels using Adobe Spark Post

  • Create compelling web pages to tell your story using Adobe Spark Page

  • Create super effective animated videos (like the promo video for this course) in minutes using Adobe Spark Video

An in-depth look at Adobe Spark Post

Next, the course looks at how to use both the Adobe Spark Post web-application and the iOS app and in particular we are interested in the seamless integration between the two apps.

In this section, I show you how to create a social media image for one of my niches, so that you can see first hand how I use Adobe Spark Post for my business.

An in-depth look at Adobe Spark Video

Once more, I consider both the web-application and the iOS app in order to create videos for two of my different niches.

First of all, I use the Adobe Spark Video web application to show you how I created a Promo video and then I use the iOS app to show you how easy it is to create a simple educational video on your phone.

An in-depth look at Adobe Spark Page

Last, but not least, we delve deeper into how to create amazing looking web stories using Adobe Spark Page, as well as again focusing on the seamless integration between the iOS app and the web application.

I begin by using the Adobe Spark Page iOS app to show you how easy it is to create a visual story from an iPad. And then, I use the web application to show you how can then perfect your page on your computer.

Finally, I show you the different options that are available to embed your finished page within your website.

As Adobe say themselves:

“With Adobe Spark, anyone can create authentic, professional looking visual content for their project, passion, cause or business."

Oh, and did I mention that Adobe Spark is FREE?

Incredible isn’t it?

So what are you waiting for?

Enrol in this class today and start learning about Adobe Spark.

A useful overview of the platform, but could have been done in half the time. I found it quite slow.

I would have also liked to see more sophisticated examples of Spark videos, using images and video footage.

I learned how to do animated videos and websites which is pretty cool.
I would also like to see the things like how to add a caption when you have a divided screen, also know if I am able to upload an image when I am doing an animated video.

I thought his explanation how to use it was detailed which I liked. However, I prefer courses that guide me creating the projects as well. A lot of people learn by doing and I am one of them. Also, I think he could have used more expression when teaching. Even though the content was very good, I started to fall asleep. Finally, I wondered if the "adobe spark" logo could be removed from the pages like it is for the posts. That question is important if we want to use our pages in our website.

Excellent intro to Adobe Spark. I have only 2 reservations:

1) I should have preferred an additional short lecture dealing purely with the possible 'next step' moves in any of the 3 programs. I guess for young regular users of iphone, ipad or social media these may be obvious but these were the only comprehension issues I came across in the whole series of lectures. For instance different calls to action of the + sign - to create a new component, new page etc ; when the forward arrow needs to be pressed - to play, replay etc. One way might be to list each of the move forward buttons and spell out how they are used - starting with the + sign and ending with 'Preview' and 'Share' or 'Download' This, I feel, would be a useful overview reference.

The Second issue I partly addressed to you in an earlier email. You spend a great deal of time dealing with the choice of styles etc but when you are using photos you are extremely brief on Creative Commons and what sites Lightroom or Dropbox are and whether they offer royalty free photos. Not everyone in the class will be familiar with these and I guess Budget will be a key issue for those looking for specific photos. A brief guide to the range of options in price terms (for instance citing the quite expensive professional level Adobe Stock' you use at the top of the range' ) would be useful. Equally a brief explanation of how you can post a Spark Video to YouTube would be invaluable.

A few minor suggestions you might find useful
- citing the facility of the rewind or a advance 15s and Speed box if wanted
- You mentioned Scrivenor but did not say what that is
- You mentioned Creative Cloud without explanation
- You mentioned Wordpress - and usefully I do have a WP site - but for other learners maybe that needs a one sentence explanation. Presumably some doing the class have, or plan to have, non Wordpress sites

Other than these minor suggestions I found the course admirably clear and in the case of your wedding video an excellent example and charming (I have a Polish girlfriend).
