I never expected to learn as much as I did!

Concerning the importance of the Christmas Truce, I believe that football has become a way for countries today to compete in a (more or less) friendly way, and this is the reason why we attach the game to the Christmas Truce as we do.

I've always had a bit of an interest in WWI, and this course definitely did not disappoint the armchair historian in me. The structure of the class is impeccable, and I really enjoyed the "Did You Know" segments in each section. And while people who enjoy history will definitely like this course, people who are new to WWI history will most certainly enjoy it as well. Great job, David!
