Jakki Bendell
Jakki is a freelance writer, trainer and coach in business writing, technical writing and copywriting. As well as writing for a living, she has designed and delivered workshops in all aspects of writing skills for the public and private sectors. She regularly works with clients including The Institution of Civil Engineers, British Pipeline Agency and the Centre for Strategy and Communication.During a 12-year career at a global publishing firm, Jakki saw that the skills for writing at work were very different from those taught at school and university. So she set out to learn and then teach these skills and techniques. She now teaches primarily in the UK, but also internationally in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.Jakki has an MBA from Manchester Business School, and postgraduate certificates in coaching, TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and training practice. She is an Associate of the UK's Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.
