It was a really enjoyable course, the teacher makes difficult concepts easy to understand. I am looking forward reading real latin texts on my own.

This course is excellent! It was exactly what I needed to finally make it all the way through the Wheelock text. The lectures clarify and elaborate on the rather terse explanations in the book, which helped me through the places where I always got stuck before.

This is a fairly straightforward series of lectures that match up with Wheelock. There is probably nothing here that you couldn't get from a Wheelock study guide. However, if the worth of the course is progress then I can say that the three parts of this course have helped me successfully complete Wheelock which is something I'm very proud of. I have just purchased the Fabulae Faciles courses to continue. The course is reasonably priced if you need some extra assistance and motivation to wade through a formidable text. Thanks Ben, you are enjoyable to listen to and the pace is good. Some say a bit slow, but I think that is exactly what an independent learner needs in order to let the concepts sink in. Cheers and thanks for your company along the way.

de cursussen zijn vanaf de basis (elementair) progressief opbouwend naar een hoger niveau. Duidelijke toelichtingen en voorbeelden. Wat iemand die zelfstudie doet nodig heeft

This is the third of a series of classes covering the whole of the wonderful Introductory Latin textbook by Wheelock now in its seventh edition. As I have worked through these superb courses my regard for book and professor have steadily increased. Professor Lugosch is a pleasure to listen to as he lucidly explains the grammar and reads Wheelock's self-tutorial sentences. I had previously tried to study this book alone, but had never used this particular study aid which is excellent practice reinforcing the material in the chapters and steadily building in complexity. Now that I have finished the book I will regularly be revisiting this material as well as trying some more advanced Latin
