I had read HTML for Dummies, but I was still unsure of how to proceed, but Mr. Taylor explained it all step by step, clearly and for the layman programmer which I still am :)
Instructor is ok, if a bit dull. Course is outdated and based on a 7 year old pdf that isn't relevant. Not useful in the modern era of HTML5
I liked this course. It is a good beginner course and it will help you learn html but it will not be the end of your html journey. No course will do that. You will need to continue practicing the lessons. You should practice as much as possible. I did run into problems and I reached out for help and he responded. I also liked it provided a project to complete.
It starts out a little slow but gets very deep into the critical areas anyone would need to know when developing a web site. Excellent presentation. Easy to follow and clear examples.
Web Design from the Ground Up is very well organized and easy to follow. It gives me a good basis for taking the other courses I intend to complete. I really like the companion text.
I really enjoyed this course. The pace was just right and the information was presented in a logical manner. It was easy to follow and I feel I learned a lot.
I could follow the teacher easily and finalize my first nice Project with some cool Features. The course covers all Basics and gives you hints where to go to deepen your knowledge. It could have covered more in-depths on photoshop and JavaScript though, in my opinion. But if you are new to web design, I can absolutely recommend this course.
