The content of the course was pretty helpful, but I was distracted and confused at times by the way the course was organized and the technical issues.
Organization: There are several times he references a video that is later in the playlist. He says, "earlier when I showed you..." and that video hasn't played yet. Also, a few times he doesn't show you how he got to the page he's on when the video starts playing. Joomla is pretty intuitive, so it isn't difficult to find, but frustrating that you have to stop the video and go find the spot.
Tech Issues:
The audio is not good. The primary issue is with the background noise. The sound wasn't recorded in a quiet environment, and especially if you watch the video in faster speeds there is a lot of popping, hum, and other noises. The audio levels are too quiet as well. Listening to the lectures using my iMac's built in speakers requires me to turn the volume up to 100%. When I switch to something else or accidentally start playing a song, my speakers are on full blast, and that isn't pleasant.

Video: The video is cropped, and sometimes you can't see the necessary content. He switches between screens quickly in a few videos so that I just didn't watch the screen while he was finding what he was looking for. I think he would have benefitted by recording those videos again and using a script so he is aware of what he's looking for. Another example of this is in one video the mouse cursor doesn't move. You can see mouseover features like menus dropping down, but the cursor stays in the middle of the screen. He should record that video again as well. He also uses the browser's zoom feature to resize content he's talking about instead of zooming the video. It's distracting and disconcerting to see the text and everything resizing quickly.

Overall it was a lot of little things that distracted from the otherwise sufficient content.
