- It would be great if the narrator would change the pitch of his voice more. It because dull if everything is spoken on one tone.
- In the Article creation section the narrator refers to the creation of a category which hasn't been created yet (will happen in the next lecture).
- In the Article creation section the incorrect editor is used (in the previous lecture the narrator just selected and saved the default editor to the JCE editor. This is not consistent.
- In the category section it is not explained why a category is required and mandatory to create.
- The title of lecture 25 is about Menu's not "Creating Blog Meny Type"
- Some lectures could be combined in one lecture, they are just too short and basically the same like managing trashed articles and trashed categories.
- It would be great if you start with what you needs to be accomplished and then build it.

I have taken over a site in my community and need to learn how to maintain and update. Probably improve when I understand how everything works.
Outstanding course so far! The only thing is that many hosting companies now have a quick install for Joomla and other software that bypasses a lot of these instructions, although it's always good to know how to install from scratch, you have to go outside the scope of this tutorial to learn how to install Joomla right from the control panel. If I missed this instruction and it is in fact there, I apologize!

This course is a tour of Joomla. It showed some of the techniques used to add functionality, and to place functionality. I would consider it more of a 2nd level course. The best thing about this course is how quickly the instructor responds to questions. It is typically within a day or two. Mathew provides good service.
I found the information would jump around. For instance the instructor would talk about something that would be covered in a later lesson that would confuse me. I did learn a few things, but it took a lot of going back a few lessons after I finally received instruction to unconfuse things. I'm normally a very fast learner, I'm sorry i very rarely give below 4 stars, but I just felt shorted.
Mathew has done a really great job with this course, and teaches really well.
If you have questions he's really ready to help.
What made me take this course is that it's oriented to make you a professional creating websites.
