It has been a detailed session for me because in goes into in depth explanation of data preparation which is the major part of data analysis
I've gone through a bunch of courses on Udemy, and this one is 100% my favorite. Great, thorough instruction with clear and concise explanations. I'm definitely gonna check out more of this guy's content.
Great course that covers some of the more advanced features available in Tableau.
Great structure, content, course materials, everything laid out in a logical order, really good stuff.
The only thing I believe that needs addressing is the verbal instructions, which are far too high a level for the detail of the tutorial.
Here's a rough example: "So we need to solve this problem, so I've just done that and now you can see it working." Or, "If we do this new process here, and there and with this, then you can see that."
This has nothing to do with pacing, and everything to do with missing detail in what is said. What you end up doing is trying to follow the mouse over and over to find what has been clicked on as you aren't getting any help with the dialog. The chances are you are looking at your own screen whilst working, so any vague dialog will slow you down considerably.
Considering no stone has been left unturned with every other aspect of what is a great course, for me it pushes the entire thing towards a product demonstration and not a full tutorial.
Still, recommended and many thanks - I learned a lot into what can be a very abstract package to get to grips with. All the best.
Feels like the course been a bit rushed through. So many topics to learn in a short period of time and fast. Beginners should really need to buckle up. I certainly would need to revisit the videos.
