So far, and, I've still not seen all of the 'introductory' videos, yet; -(I think, I might have only completed seeing, maybe, 2 or 3)-; I'm absolutely loving this beginners Scratch tutorial. Yes, I have used Scratch online before in the past...to make very simple and straight forwards programs: 12 x tables/-etc.; only I don't recall making full use of the interface various bits and pieces; which is exactly what this tutorial teaches. For example, already I've stopped using the bog standard 'cat' picture icon; and, instead, went and drew my own picture sprites/then, saved these both online/as well as, onto my home computer. Using my Windows 10 computer...together with the FREE Microsoft Paint software...I was able to create/draw my own backdrop scene; then, upload it...after saving it as being a [.png] file. (I could also have opted to draw the backdrop from within the Scratch program itself, as well.) Already, my program user interface is entirely uniquely my 'own'; and, is no longer bog standard, anymore...meaning the program doesn't look like anybody/and, everybody else's. Right now, I'm sitting here wondering what else am I going to learn, next...?

Best Scratch Prog course on Udemy with very relevant hands-on fun lessons and quizzes (vs other similar courses which are just copy examples obtained from books). My son was initially luke-warm to Scratch at first but after seeing what was taught in Venkatesh & Kamesh videos, he asked to come back to try it out with minimal supervision. Thank you Venkatesh & Kamesh for taking the extra effort to entice young minds with simple yet interesting & fun video lectures!
