Highly Recommend - very well presented highlighting the reason slides need to be made a certain way to benefit your target audience. The course is relevant no matter the users version of PowerPoint - its taught in PowerPoint 2010.

This course starts with the assumption that you are competent in Powerpoint which I think is a good thing. I was really looking to make my slides look better for an important presentation and this course taught me what I was looking for re: design principles and ways to make everything look a bit more professional.

I teach part-time and I can make PowerPoint slides as bad as the worst of them. I was looking for a course that would explain how to use PowerPoint to enhance my presentations, not bore my students to death. This course delivered.
If you don't know HOW to use PowerPoint - look elsewhere - this course assumes that you are reasonably proficient with PowerPoint. This course is for those who know how to use PP - but want to take their presentations to the next level. The course is not overly long - doesn't get bogged down in a lot of detail, but presents a number of simple techniques that anyone can use to enhance their presentations.
Only one more issue I found with the course - very early on he makes references to the fact that "You now know how to use Presentation Mode" - when in fact Presentation Mode is covered in a much later lesson - so don't let it throw you (I went back and double checked - thinking I had skipped a lesson).
Overall I enjoyed the class, great content. His presentation style is fun with just the right amount of humor. Would definitely take other courses from this instructor.

This course was too basic. No meaningful inclusion of how to present technical data.
