*You don't need any experience to take this course, however a basic understanding of HTML would be great. I will explain everything as I go, but some things I spent more time on than others. I don't spent a huge amount of time on the absolute lowest level basics e.g. what is HTML. So if you have absolutely no experience programming, you are absolutely fine to take this course, just ask me to explain things further if you would like a more detailed explanation :)

easy to follow and I already learned a lot
Very clearly and well explained content. This is a fascinating project and is built up in modular components to enable it to be followed with ease. As well as the PHP , there is also quite a lot of CSS. For me this is a good thing as I have limited experience on building a UI from scratch. The finished UI has a very professional appearance. The PHP is also object oriented which has proven to be a bit of a challenge for me as I am mostly used to simple procedural PHP. Nevertheless apart from a number of head scratching moments (much of my own making as I do like to stick to my own ways and naming conventions) I have managed to work out for myself, how to get the application working as it should be. I would recommend this course highly for anyone at a beginner level in PHP who wishes to move up to an intemediate/advanced level and or broaden their PHP and CSS coding styles.

Reece is a very advanced developer which is great but anyone (such as myself) that comes to this course new to web development will be VERY overwhelmed and discouraged by the sheer number of technologies that are blended in this course. Recommendation. This course should clearly be marked "ADVANCED USERS NOT BEGINNERS". By the end of this course, I was truly overwhelmed by the fast talk and use of about 5 or 6 different web languages at a time. Again this is a senior level course not for a beginner.
Great content. Sometimes it just hurry up on a topic or other, but overall, it's easy to understand if you have some basic knowledge of HTML and coding.
(I do recommend some previous knowledge on that, otherwise it can be really confusing).
I still have to reanalyze all the code, files and link between them to have a big picture of all, but I liked it.
As a suggestion, I would like to see a video with a wrap up of everything, with a general view of the file structure used, where we have Ajax, PHP, HTML, JS, etc., and how thing are working together. Like a diagram of all the parts of the code.
Reece's way of teaching is different from other instructors. For one, his tutorial videos don't only show how to code, but he also makes mistakes, explains how you know where the mistakes came about and how to fix them. I've had a lot of 'aha!' moments while watching his videos, things that didn't make sense to me before are clearer to me now. I have thoroughly enjoyed this course and am looking forward to picking up another one of his courses later.
I have learned so much from this course! As a learner that requires a more hands-on approach and a reasonable understanding of WHY I need to use something, this course really helped me grasp some of the concepts I struggled with in the past!
This course is really good for a beginner, who really want to learn php , javascript and mysql. But in this course ajax is also there , so ajax will be difficult for a student who is at a basic stage of php. Otherwise this course is really a amazing course. Teaching and talking style of Reece Kenny sir is very clear. Reece sir is very helpful and very responsive towards his student. So, i will recommend this course to all of you who really want to learn web development. It's worth it.
I'm about done with this course and let me say I loved it! Learning from Reece has been incredibly, I got many instructors here on Udemy but non-like him cuz he takes his time to answer the questions which is really what makes a course effective. Just wanted to thank him and I can't wait to get my hands on his NEW course!
