This course is well made, although a bit robotic at times, but it's well structured and touches on most important topics. A bit outdated in 2024, which is fine, it is a Drupal 8 course, but what I find annoying is that this was created in a beta-version of Drupal 8, and the steady flow of beta errors in the installation affecting the flow of the course is pretty annoying, this course should have gotten a revision a long time ago, especially when an audience size this big has generated enough resources to be able to take some time and do so.
I found that some of the information needs to be updated. The latest version of Acquia Dev Desktop works differently from the one in the video.
Important to note this course is fairly out of date - I had trouble installing Drupal because acquia dev desktop no longer exists. I ultimately ended up installing Drupal 9 (similar enough to 8) on MAMP, which was fairly difficult and I probably wouldn't have been able to do it without my IT background.
As for content, if you are able to install Drupal, this is a fun, informative and engaging course
Excellent instruction that is easy to follow.
The course is based on the usage of Acquia Dev Desktop which is not available anymore. Therefore it is not possible to follow the course by practicing it in the described way. So the course needs an update.
The content itself was great.
slightly frustrating that I'm following a video made in 2015, when php 5.6 is the latest version of php. just worried that everything is out of date

links are no longer working for downloads, websites have completely changed and don't look anything like what they do on the videos, making it very difficult to even get to the point of being able to follow along.
