I'm a best selling author on Amazon for "How to Draw Awesome Figures." I studied art at different schools, one of them being a community college in San Jose, Ca. Over the years, subjects in art finally clicked. I teach these subjects in ways that make it easy to grasp. It's hard to brag about myself, but students have written...

I love anime Fontaine to death. He has brought me hope when I thought my art would never improve. Because of him I can actually draw my characters and they look good. It even translates over to animation which is a different topic all together but all you need to know is that he is a very good instructor. I understand all his concepts and work ideology and I’m happy to have found him.

Like, but without printer it's difficult to use the layout to really draw it right.

It is very good. Actually I have tried many times before to make faces and I advanced a lot by myself BUT I make ALL the mistakes that are mentioned. An some guidelines have been the most helpfull I have gotten so far. I am not a pro, because I don't have much time, but everything is really understandable and pheasible to do.

Very useful, the instructor, Neil Fontaine, is super excited about this topic and it shows, great length and boils down into simple templates to start from. I would recommend this course after you take a basic portrait so you can compare the comic templates to "real life" templates but it is not necessary. Course moves at a good pace. I also found doing the exercises he suggests to be very beneficial before going on to the next lesson.

This course needs major editing. He probably could have chopped it down from 4 hours to 1.5 hours of actual content if he got rid of the "Exercise videos" and edited a lot of his pauses out, etc. Even at 2x speed, it was a lot of fluff.
