There is no continuity to this course. It is a disappointing collection of single instance cases and no explanation of what is being done. It has to do more with external jQuery functions than CakePHP. It is explained in a rushed to finish style that is quite annoying.
I learned very fast that I want my money back.
Well, it is a quick and dirty tutorial - dont get me wrong, if you have a deeper understanding of cakephp, than it is ok, if you a re a newbie...this is not what you will search for. Actually i work since years with cakephp and the version 3 offers sooooo much great things, such as routing, different profiles for better development, authentication, etc. As i said, it is quick and dirty and for that money i would appreciate a lil bit more from a) background informations (conventions, what are the folders, etc) and b) more from the real superpower from cakephp
