Basic overview of containers. More for business person than technical person. Lots of business points.
Greatful for an overview.
But even so, could have examples of what are in containers and less fluff -- such as a whole section on preparedness
Not great. I feel like i was listening to a work presentation. It was free so I can't complain. You can get it down to by playback of x1.75 and you won't miss anything. Overall you can likely find better material on YouTube.
poor quality course content.
Course is absolutely highlevel, i.e. wikipedia of what docker is.
and it still has two duplicated lectures despite it has been pointed for few years already
i'd do not recommened it to anyone:
- if you are looking for highlevel info spent 5 minuted looking through https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Docker_(software) instead of hour-long training
- if you are looking for fresh start, look for somewhere else
Please refund the amount. This course did not explain even very basic of docker
Good explanation on docker and others with respect to the business point of view.
This is a very nice course for beginner. I have one suggestion , In this course would have some more graphics and visual content to understand the sequential flow of Dockerization of services and microservices and it is same for state full and state-less. Thanks for Valuable Knowledge provided by You.
Overall course was good, below mentioned few things can be updated:
Ram <- RAM, initial Slides, please update.
There should not be one to one comparison between Virtual Machine and Containers, as mentioned in initial slides. Both serves different purpose and used to have different solutions, in short containers are not the replacement of VMs!
Slide-22, Section "Docker Hub" is the duplicate content of its previous slide.
Entire Slide 23 is the duplicate of Slide 22.

Plenty on what docker can be used for but nothing about how to develop an app for docker or how to use an app that is already on docker hub or other repository.
