The author and narrator-- though not speaking in her native language--not only successfully produces efficient and eloquent English, but there is both insight and clarity of delivery throughout. Not only are the nuts and bults of Audacity thoroughly covered and well, she also details several fundamental principles which are often ignored or only mentioned as an aside in many a course.
The student is the beneficiary of these insights and this level of organization and simple, straightforward explanation/demonstration; all important in explaining or executing any highly skilled endeavor. Audacity is no small exception, sound editing no small exception. Kudos, instructor.

Very Nice and informative course
My first course with this instructor. I actually purchased it a few years ago, then had my studies sidetracked by a new job, so really only got past Lesson 2 this morning. Very pleased. Instructor's delivery is clear, concise, not slow enough to stress any student out, but perfect in light of her lovely accent. The lessons are easily comprehended. The course is a wee bit dated now - Part 3 has students downloading and installing a third-party plugin which modern Audacity (v 2.4.2, anyway) does not recognize. Perhaps Audacity's built-in compressors are good enough now that a plugin isn't needed; I'll have to experiment a little. Aside from that one minor item of note, I have zero complaints. Many extras are included that I would have never expected - remapping & customizing Audacity's File Menu to save the user's time, downloadable pdfs with keyboard command lists, detailed breakdown of how to generate fun effects, etc.. More than worth the cost of the course, even in its "historical" state.
Lectures are 3 minutes and barely informative.
The presented is SUPER relaxed, which really helps ease new skills learning. Very good explanations of technical items and a lot of patience in walking through e.g. technicalities of noise reduction, chains, and other non-obvious tasks.

Es fehlten mir Elemente im Kurs. Es wurde z.B. angekündigt, dass in einem späteren Kapitel die Bearbeitung von Männer- und Frauenstimmen gezeigt werden sollte. Doch dieses Kapitel gibt es nicht in dem Kurs. Ein paar Basics sind gut und richtig erklärt, aber mir war der Kurs nicht umfangreich genug.
It's a very informative course on the program Audacity and how to use it, Agnes is a very good instructor and easy o follow. Podcasters and video producers should absolutely take this course which I recommend highly .
This is the first Udemy Course that got me through the complete process, of doing what I'm trying to do. In this case making much better Podcast Audio files.
The Russian (?) accent was a little rough sometimes and humorous for this American.
If I can't give a FIVE-Star rating I ain't sure I want to rate it!
This lady didn't play games. She gave me everything I needed to complete my ability to make much better Audio Files. She didn't present a single topic that's required to make Podcast Videos that required me to purchase another Udemeny Course (from her).
Seriously though, I put my first two podcasts up (45 minutes each) and they are getting good results (for my first try at it), despite my not doing things right.
It's been two months and I'm getting ready to start things up again, thanks to the General Motors strike and this course.
Until I took this course I was making my audio file with brute force. I had no idea of Audacity's awesome capabilities.
