Her ideas sync with mine on chatGPT which my son erroneously suggested could write my book in a week. He has the package at his business and now uses it more than Google. He fed some of my important terms and novel ideas for it to respond to and I was very impressed that it was shifting the goal posts based on the logic and validity of my input, to rewrite a response in an impressive and polished language style from my point of view. So I was sold on its value as a language tool for improving one's expression of ideas.

This course was a disappointment, although it might appeal to someone with absolutely no writing experience. I found the content simplistic, repetitive and often irrelevant to the stated topic. (If I'd wanted information on learning styles, I would not have sought out a course on writing!) I also found that the delivery dragged. (A 7-minute intro featuring the presenter's dogs! Really? And a handout on how to organize a binder? And who the heck is Jacqui Malpass and what is her connection to Dale Darley?) Some of the course handouts were useful, but the same handout was often repeated from segment to segment. And it would have been helpful if the handout and file names corresponded to the lectures they were meant to accompany. If I had paid full price for this course, I would be requesting a refund.

The author is experienced and has a wealth of knowledge to share. The audio could have been louder or a transcript could have been provided.

The course is exceedingly basic and very repetitive. It is not for someone with writing experience or any academic training.

I love the way the course is laid out. I have purchased the materials to start. I will listen completely through the course and then go back and do it again while doing homework. Well thought out!

I really liked her perspective on things, like how you should know how you learn how you learn.
