The course content is good and my project worked. The presentation was a little frustrating because as you follow along a half hour later he lets you know he made a mistake and makes a couple quick changes and continues along rather than re-recording the parts with the mistakes. This isn't a huge deal, just frustrating because backtracking and re-editing took me probably more time than it would have taken him just to record the spots with the errors correctly. I still learned a lot and am building my own WordPress plugin even as I write this reveiw

Generally good information but hasn't been updated for Gutenberg. Also should mention some default parameters. When debugging is turned on, the "finished code" throws a lot of errors both in the admin and the widget area, because it's trying to call data that hasn't been saved yet. These could be errors introduced due to the age of the tutorials as well. It's definitely informative to get started but doesn't cover everything you should need to complete a polished plugin.

It’s confusing. It should explain and show exactly What we are doing first I mean the goal and after that starting the code. I’m doing but I don’t know what’s gonna be the result then I am just keep going on to see what’s happening.

Great tutorial, learned a lot and will apply it to my project. The only thing that needs updating is the New York Times API interface has changed since recording but you can figure this out by clicking around a bit. Much appreciated, bargain. Thank you.

Short and concise tutorial which helps me to understand the concept and procedures of creating a Wordpress plugin. Great help for me, Thanks a lot!

Positive:
+ Quick start and overview to WP plugin creation
+ Covers major subjects on a real world example
+ Shows shortcode creation, widget creation
+ Show admin page creation, content page creation
+ Shows how to consume a REST API

Negative:
- Once in a while mistakes occur, confusing to the new-comer

Recommendation to participants:
- Load the completed source code and follow the explanations, instead of trying to rebuild the code yourself, while watching the videos.
