Overall: If you've created a small handful of Wordpress websites, but aren't familiar with building sites locally, then this course is good as a refresher. I certainly picked up some tidbits here and there (ex. creating htdocs folder directly in MAMP Pro rather than MAMP, using Revealer, etc.). The instructor is friendly and engaging, but babbles on a little at times. Would be good if it covered how to deal with databases when upgrading from MAMP to MAMP Pro, esp. from a previous version.
The Little Things: Cool how you can book mark and make comments on the bookmarks, as well as the UI and feedback for the quizzes.
Room for improvement: No need to explain when you say "me" meaning yourself, we KNOW that in our case, it would refer to ourself (we're not 6 yrs old). If we're working with Wordpress installations, we should be familiar enough with computers how to do Copy & Paste, don't have to hold our hands through this part each time (just say Copy & Paste, we'll know how to do it!). Shouldn't have to keep repeating about accommodating for the keyboard shortcuts for the students in China (maybe just once is enough but I think you repeated it 2-3 times).
Quizzes: There are many mistakes (esp. 3rd or 4th one). One question says 'True' or 'False' but asks it asks in question format. Another question only proposes 1 possible answer to choose from, whereas it should list a few options. Another should be worded differently ("will cause..." vs. "may cause..."to be truly accurate, so it was confusing. The parts where the instructor makes a mistake should be re-recorded, because it's confusing (ex. calling the "username" the same as the database name when it should've been the db user name "me").
Overall, good effort and a few things learned.
