I had a lot of issues when trying to follow along with the videos. Since Diego Davila used an older version of WordPress, while I used the latest version, I had a lot of theme/plugin compatibility issues. For example, I couldn't use the same version of the Evolve plugin as he did (it broke my site), so I had to use the newest version, which looks a lot different than the one the video. And the SumoMe plugin wouldn't work because it triggered a fatal error.
If you want to see what WordPress can do, this is a good course. But if you want to follow along with the videos and not just watch them, be prepared to figure out a lot of things by yourself such as finding alternative plugins and themes.
