The course is a great introduction to WordPress security. The tips are easy to implement by anyone and they certainly increase protection. Unfortunately the course has not been updated in recent years and there might be more issues that would need to be addressed and some of the resources mention might not be as applicable as they were in the past.

It's a nice course! It's kind of a security beginners course.. and for that, I gave it four stars!
It presents some nice real-world actions that we can use; gives us ideas of some possible complications (some with an acceptable approach.. not looking for a nice and stylish outcome)

Dated, not all advice good. Most is just "install this plugin". Also, telling people to use Fivr to pay strangers to do their security is awful advice.

As a manual way of securing a WordPress website this training is very good. There are ways that sophisticated hackers have that go beyond the level of security this training supports. I have learned this through careful study and this course does not address things to that depth. That is why I do not give it a full 5 star rating. There are things included that are important and great to know and in some instances have in ones hind pocket, so I do like the course.

Quite surprised that there is no section regarding securing .htaccess file, nor a step by step procedure to actually show the WordPress update procedure (manually) instead of referencing to 3rd party to perform it for you (since sharing login details in itself is a security risk)

I'm a developer/sysadmin and I found bits and pieces of this to be helpful. Would be a better beginner course. Not a whole lot in here that I couldn't have googled.

I knew all of it already and have some alternative plug-ins for these things. But it still is a good course for each WordPress owner. Everyone who owns a WordPress website should know how to make it as secure as possible and I think this course nails it.
