While the class is ok and I would have liked to have recommended it for beginners, I cannot in good conscious do so. This class will not deliver on its promises. The coding practices leave a lot to be desired. Almost all of the examples use inline CSS, there is no talk about how or why to load in css and javascript files separately. The HTML section shares the bare minimum of tags to write a simple page and the javascript section is just a bunch of random tips and not a true introduction to the language that explains the whys and wherefores.

The 'how to get a job' section does not provide any insight, it's basically the instructor pointing to a few sites and saying 'you can get jobs here!'. There's another wonderful photoshop web design class where the instructor not only tells you of these sites, he actually goes on them, and goes through the steps of designing a preliminary design, puts it up, WINS THE JOB, and then creates the webpage while the student looks over his shoulder. This is the proper way to show someone how to get work. Not share a few pages anyone can find with a simple web search on finding work.

I apologize for sounding harsh. It pains me to write bad reviews, but I honestly cannot find a good reason to recommend the course as it stands right now.
