It would be better if LSP concepts was taught a bit more deep.

API is simply presented with good examples. A nice overview and survey of the capabilities of the environment.

Not sure why other people give low ratings to this course. It achieves the objective it is designed for - give a newcomer a start in developing VS Code extensions.

Sure, the course script can be polished, but it's good enough to illustrate key points and guide the viewer to what's available on the topic. That's why I took that course anyway.

Sure, the author's English is not of an American news anchor, but it is clear and understandable. For many course viewers English is not their native tongue either (that includes myself), and an effort put by the author into the narration is commendable.

For me personally, I appreciate the author's taking on a topic that is not well covered, and giving me a map of the land and pointers on what to search for if I want to know more. If your objective is to dive deep into specific topics of the VS Code programmability model - maybe this course is not what you're looking for.

Not bad for an overview course, and definitely not worth the price if you didn't buy it on sale. The instructor skips over key points, falls back on old coding conventions, and in most cases just reads what is already in the VSCode Extension documentation.

El lenguaje es lamenrtable, cuesta michĂsimo entenderlo. El contenido es pobre, por ejemplo no se trata nada de elarbol de ficheros, que es una parte muy relevange a la hora de desarrollar extensiones

The course is good, but I was expecting some pointers on explorer extensions and context menu extensions.
