Really need to redo all the vids where you get stuck and your code doesn't work and you give up.
I feel like asking for a refund.
The tutor doesn't seem serious. He just fumbles around. Some may see this as showing how to solve impromptu problems but it is quite apparent not to be the case.
He may have coded in VB.Net but I'm sure he is quite far away for some time already.
Skipped many many important aspects of the VB.Net.
This course if more like basic/intro/for-dummies etc... definitely (definitely) NOT Mastering...
He seems to make this training just for fun...not serious enough.
And there is nothing about VBScript at all...
This is not recommended for a noob.
The course covers beginner topics but doesn't really explain it for a beginner. If I could change anything, I would spend more time explaining instead of doing it. This course is definitely not a "masterclass," but it still gives me a good understanding of VB.Net. I would also wish there were more quizzes or interactive activities instead of just being asked, "Can you do this?" and not providing a solution if you don't know how to solve the problem. I would also wish that there would be real-world projects using what we recently learned in a real-world scenario.
It is a good casual course for Beginners. The masterclass is a too loud word for this, because many advanced and important features have not been shown, specially userform objects.
Considering there are so few VB courses on here, this one was great for a beginner. The only thing that felt a bit misleading was the term "Masterclass" in the course name. I know the course is a few years old so I don't know if anything changed in that time but it lacked the late game complexity of most other "Masterclass" courses on here. But I can over look that, it's really the only small con. The instructor was great, easy to understand. They cover the topics quickly without a lot of extra fluff. The content builds on it self as you learn.
