This course has a lot of unique and useful information. Very in-depth but I am rating it 3 stars as, seriously, it could be so much shorter and to the point in some parts. Gets almost painful (Parts 1 and 2 Defining capabilities of Expert performers) ... like "get to the point please!!!! ... I do not need to hear the question 20 times and try to guess what the answer is (if I knew I wouldn't be buying the course). I am not buying the courses based on the hours of instructions but on what the course has to offer. This is a 6 hour course that could have been shortened to 2-3 if all the repetitiveness and asking the viewer over and over the same question were eliminated.

Also 3 on the sound. These are paid for courses and I wish Udemy would raise the sound quality standard. Half of the courses I have bought so far have poor audio - background noise or the instructor is just using the computer's microphone....very hard to follow and focus.

This course gives a brilliant overview of all the factors that go into skill acquisition in sports. IMHO this should be a 'must-watch' course for any sports coach looking to work with kids and/or adults.

The information are exactly what I need in the basketball shooting program I'm developing. And these info are delivered clearly by the lecturer. Nonetheless, I can't give a rating of 5 which I wanted to very much because the lecturer is not visible.

the part about expert versus sub expert is good. 12 principles are much harder to retain given their inter-relation

This is very powerful stuff I'm fascinated by this information. I believe this course will put me on another level of thinking. I can now explain whats going on in the brain of my athletes. Motivating athletes is one thing but understanding there thinking from this perspective is very powerful. This scientific approach to understanding the sport brain at this level is paramount. This can help with the growth and development process. This knowledge of the athlete's brain can be a real game changer for trainers, coaches and players. I can't thank you guys enough for this course and this information. Thank you so much.
