In many tutorials just some reference to the website of cave of programming is given which is in fact a paid set of tutorials. Apart from that, videos seem to be interesting.

Its 2020. All the materials are of 2013. Very difficult to relate with libraries and functioning of what Spring-MVC is now presently. Half of libraries functions are deprecated and the newer versions have new requirements. I wish the course content would be updated atleast somewhere near 2020. EVerything is done in 2013 and shut down after that.

I liked the course and feel I got a good introduction to Spring. The course is a little dated and some parts are out-dated. Still a good course.

Good class so far. Very informative. Some small pieces of code wont work directly with new versions of Spring, but with a little bit of research and read the comments for any questions that might have been already answered and you will be fine.

Good:
- The course is huge and is about a lot of modules of Spring-Framework. - the course Is focused on Web development.
- You can learn how to use other technologies with spring (Apache Tiles, MySQL, JQuery)
- This is a practical course.
Bad:
- The course is now out-of date.
- Sometime the teacher make some errors during the video-lesson. This could be useful for beginner programmers, but it's definetly boring for an intermediate/expert programmer

I had enough doubt about learnings something new, let alone to hear the instructor keep sayings things like: I am not sure about how this works; i google this myself to figure out how to make it work. In addition with over 160 sessions, you would think he could have figured out the keyboard issues with creating the < and > characters he had plague him through the whole course. i will not take another course from this instructor. :-( Glad it was only a $10 course.

The course explains really everything about Spring framework; I already know Spring Boot and I find this course very usefull because it teaches how it evolved. This is version 4 if I'm not mistaken.
