It has taken me over a year to complete this course and as with technology, I am behind in the Android OS. This provides challenges, which is good because I had to look up a TON of problem solving, but I have the other OS classes waiting so it was kind of irritating.
Trying to finish this course quickly while working full time is difficult.
I love the details and being able to go back and get info from prior content in order to advance more efficiently. Could use even more details and less repetitive popular app cloning.

I had some development experience in the past but I Never developed in Android / Java before but I'm really happy with the results I got. Rob teaches the basics. What I think is very good is that you learn how to find solutions for what you want. Once you master that, you can go far beyond the main content of this course.
The owner of this course is not making any update and this course needs an update, also he created a new one that contains similarly content and I think that is not fair to create another and not update this one
A lot of quality information. Rob speaks clearly and is easy to understand. Delivered at a fast pace but that gets you up and running quickly. I would recommend this course but there is a newer one that covers Nougat so go for that one.
Very good, some useful stuff in there, but a bit of a shame that a lot of the parse.com stuff became redundant early on.
It is a good course that needs to be updated. It uses Parse, Parse is wonderful but It is out. Also It is necessary to change section 3, include Material Design, etc.
Udemy should stop offering the course if it is not updated.
Good course for absolute beginner. I started this course in june 2016 and keeping on studying I lernt several things. M result was that I found out to be in love with coding and in september I got a job! I'm living in Rome, Italy, right now and here is not so easy to find a job, especially if you don't have a degree as me. So if you feel enthusiatic everytime you code, keep on doing that and you're going to see some results for sure. Thanks Rob for sharing your knowledge :D
