Well the material itself is good, but it's a bit outdated, the solutions seems only work with Java 8. I do have to praise how the lecturer gives the explanation and the pace itself is suitable for me

Some of codes are out of date and the leaner cannot practice.

This was an excellent course. I really appreciated the range of ideas. I would recommend it to anyone learning SpringBoot!

There were two areas I found difficult:

1) the RestEasy Client was dependent on the parent jar to work properly. This was very frustrating, as I wanted to understand the client building better. I would MUCH rather have learned with regular Spring Controllers. I spent hours trying dependency version variations for RestEasy & Jersey, but was not successful on JDK 17. It really slowed me down because I did not really understand the outcome of the client strategy to begin with.

2) the Bean Validation also did not work. Again, I tried numerous version options, but no luck. I felt I understood what you were trying to do, but it simply did not validate properly. I was able to work around it of course, but found the version dependencies disappointing.

I recommend revising (r even removing) sections 8, 9, 11 until and unless they have NO dependencies on 3rd parties or version issues.
