Missing Resource Files and Does not answer questions
it was very good. just enough information without being over my head.
I am using Swagger for .Net applications ... and this course helped me just a little. You see some parts of Swagger yaml file syntax ... but not a complete overview. You see how to use Swagger online ... but offline usage is very specified based on npm and for local usage.
Question to make the course better: How do I setup swagger locally and integrate it into my API, that it works locally and in my production API?
This course doesn’t really cover RESTful API web services, nor does the course really cover API documentation. The course mainly focuses on (1) modifying OpenAPI 2.0 YAML files in the Swagger Editor, and (2) Swagger UI output. The course consists of walk-through/talk-through videos of the quality typically found on a personal YouTube channel (the instructor promotes his YouTube channel throughout the course). The course includes neither projects nor quizzes.
None of the resources were available, the instruction was very scattered and not clear in most cases.
Overall, this course of information was "okay".
This is the worst course on Udemy. Not worth buying at all. I want my money back.
The course is probably the worst course I have seen in Udemy. The instructor does not take the time to explain anything well. He just went quickly through the basics and that was pretty much it. Better look it up in youtube.

If this was a true introduction to APIs and Swagger my opinion would be different. However, I think there are a few things wrong with this course. 1 narrator assumes a lot of knowledge and seems to jump around course material, also could speak louder and clearer, there are no subtitles.
A lot of information is assumed for a beginners course which is wrong. The linked courses of the guy's youtube channel were verbose and were difficult to understand. I wouldn't recommend this for a beginner. If you have programming experience or experience of a comparable level within IT you might be okay with this course but then again if you have that level of understanding then you probably don't need this course. One good thing was that the guy is clearly a nice person and is upbeat and enthusiastic, should work on delivery though.
