Probably the worse online course training I've ever participated in. Not engaging at all, the slides look like they were from the 1980s and the content was very poor, he spoke a lot but it was blah blah blah, the training could have taken less time if it wasn't for all the rubbish. Didn't deliver!
My first experience with Udemy and I doubt I would use it again as I feel the vetting process of the courses is not the up to good quality and standards.

There is a lot of information here, but I kind of feel like the instructor is yelling at me throughout the entire lesson. He seems very energetic and boisterous, which is good for a start, but after a while, it becomes exhausting. Other courses I've taken breaks the topic down with each video but this instructor just talks and talks and talks without really giving you a breather or sometimes even clearly relaying that we are switching gears or topics.

I'll give future potential students of this course a bit of background on me before I give a review so that they can put it into context. I'm a small business owner (photographer) who has handled my own marketing and copywriting for 20 years. In the past 4 years, our business was put on hold and I spent that entire time studying marketing. I went from a 2 out of 10 knowledge to an 8 out of 10 but was still missing a few pieces, which I pinned on copywriting.

For the most part, this course offered good reminders of what I already know. I can see how a new copywriter would learn a lot. The information was organized well and explained in terms anyone can understand. The repetition of key concepts are helpful for locking things into your memory. And there were a few gems sprinkled throughout that filled in a couple of gaps for me.

I felt that the sales page examples looked quite spamy. I would have preferred classier applications and simpler pages. 95% of the examples used were for selling a copywriting course to new copywriters, which is not what my business is. So it would have been great if the examples used covered a variety of industries to help click into place easier.

My second course with this instructor. Great Content reminds me of a military instructor. Tell what you going to teach them, teach them and tell what you taught them. Changing sections in the middle of the talk drove me crazy at first. When I finally figured out what was going on (sometimes not the brightest bulb in the pack) I was good with it. Like the others I have taken copywriting courses with he is knowledge in chosen profession.

I learned a lot from this course about copywriting. How you need it in your sales. You need it in everything you do to market your product or service.

The information is helpful when mentally adding extra context, but I believed this course to be about copywriting as a whole, with less of a focus on "sales letters." Also, the presentation document is riddled with grammatical errors, and looks unprofessional, considering this is about effective copywriting.
