This has really assisted me in getting a handle on snappy and meaningful dialog.

This had some helpful ideas and techniques. I wish it was a bit longer for the price but it was pretty good overall.

You can get this information on Youtube. No, examples for dialogue so we can see what is going on with black board talks and no teacher interactions. He just read from old various books and nothing from modern writings with exceptions from Harry Potter. I got very little from this course and am sorry for spending the money!

It was good, as I am a beginner. Instructor is very interesting. I'd like to know if he has another course where he goes into more detail, as this just touches the surface for me.

It had alot of very useful tips. And despite the teacher sounding a bit unsure about everything he said the way he said it, still a good course. But entierly too short. And it was seriously lacking alot of information that should have been there.

It would be better with longer videos on each subject, adding other details and such in there, and a few short exorsises. Maybe even explain the concepts of classical story arcs like The Hero's Quest and the...Pyramid thingy. As some options for ways to write it by some kind of roadmap.

And as a teacher I'm sure he knows even more. So essentially; It should be longer, with more information.

I learned a lot about different beginnings and endings. However, I have heard other arguments about how dialogue should be written. I think it would be good to address that for other writers who may be confused.

This course, albeit short, was enlightening and useful. I have always struggled with dialogue and can now see that I tended to shy away from it as much as possible. I now understand why dialogue is so important.
Steve Alcorn offers clear explanations and provides many examples to elucidate his comments.

Very frustrated with the videos slowing down and not playing correctly. I missed most of the information. I haven't got a problem like this with other videos. Also would have liked to see the notes while the presenter was explaining them, rather than having to look them up
