It is quite nice and easy to understand. Especially the Docker Container setup and MySql, etc. It would be nice if there were lesson on troubleshooting different issues that we learnt in the lecture.
Very valuable information, presented in an engaging way. The result is a docker-ized node development environment in a github repo. Here are some things to note:
1. The course uses docker containers. While detailed info on containers is beyond the scope of the course, it would have helped to give an block diagram of what's being built (including the virtualbox). It also would be nice to include a bit more instruction on how to diagnose the environment (e.g., using command-line mysql client).
2. There were a couple places where an instruction was missing from the video (although not missing from the repo), leading to the student needing to diagnose the problem. That's fine, if the teacher uses it as an opportunity for a teachable moment. Examples:
:: apt-get update && apt-get install pkg1 pkg2
:: apt-get install mysql
All-in-all, I recommend it to all node developers.
Pace is good, information, my environment is slightly different though, I use heidisql (windows) , instead of mysql workbench, and my code editor is vs code

Good content but outdated.
Instrutor uses Docker Toolbox (which is deprecated) and the repository in the github has no update in 5 years.
Nonetheless, the ideas presented in the course are pretty good.
