I am using USB Data Connection for accessing web. While I can easily access videos on you tube etc. I cannot view the lectures that are more than 20 min long. I do not see the point of creating such HD videos for a static lecture. It is as good as not having the course. Clear Admit should understand that applicants around the world access the videos. This fact that several people have made comments in this regard has resulted in no change. Since got this course for free so am not asking for a refund. For a company claiming to help students get into Top B Schools, such business sense is expected.
Guys! I have to say this video course is the best thing that has ever happened to the MBA applications world. Here's what I think are great about the video course: Comprehensive: the course helps you right from university selection through the more involved areas such as asking for LoR's. It's online: watch it when you like it, where you like it. Period. It's real: the course is is all stuff, no fluff. IMO, it's concise and sticks to the point about helping people understand the admissions process and improve their chance of getting admitted. I really wish that more people would buy this course and make the best use of it. It's a double thumbs-up from me for sure.
I have only watched the first video, since I was occupied with works and families in the past couple of weeks. The first video is about selecting business schools. This video is especially good for first time applicants. It describes how many schools an applicant should target and what considerations should be made for selecting these schools. Overall, this course is very informative. I am looking forward to watch the rest of the videos, especially before I get into the corresponding stage of my application. By the way, I have included the title for each classes. Very good for people who are about to start their path pursuing an MBA program. It provides very useful tips for essay writing and School researching.
For those many applicants like me, who have so many questioins on mind on how to choose and finalize from the list of schools, how to write effective essays, how to read the admission officers mind and so on. I found the video on Interviews to a bit disappointing. Overall I can see the lady reading from some kind of prompt, which made me feel like it is not genuine or relevant. Next the topics covered we important, but no attempt to dive into them was made. Finally, the general value was low in what they gave as advice. I felt like anyone applying to top business schools would know the basics of interviewing well, nothing was new or added to my ability to interview as a result of the video.
