Its not as expected
Expectation was that this course would provide more details about challenges in AS400 Mainframe automation. But, only 3 topics in the last chapter cover basics. Disappointing for professionals working on real time AS400 Mainframe automation.
So far, Instructor is quite verbose except when it counts. Reiterated glaringly obvious facts ad nauseum while neglecting less obvious ones. It'd have been nice if he'd specified that he double-clicked to get program to do what it did. It looked like he single clicked. I was worried that he was using a different version (like the previous two courses I've tried). I was also wondering if he'd decided to start using hot-key commands when right-click didn't work. Finally, I tried double-click. I know: I was a dunce there, but when I do user manuals for my coworkers -especially for Beginner Level -I'm careful to include information like single-click, double-click, right-click, etc. "It's the little things that kill" -or annoy to aggravation/frustration. I trust I'll leave a better review later though, by the end.
good for beginner to have basic idea of how UFT works for diffenent apps. But not recommend for advance users. e.g data driven test from external sheet, exception handling, passing keyboard tabs and enter values, working with web tables and frames, custom reporting are not covered. Please provdie these valuable topics no matters what you chargge
The content was good, the lecturer ended most sentences with "K", which was a bit annoying to me. The content and presentation were both helpful.
From title like this I expected more than basic use of HP UFT, lesson recovery scenario seems like it's not finished. Lessons should be made on some more interesting applications not on gmail sign in page. 3 stars only because he took time to make videos.

Instructor appears knowledgeable. I came to gain insight on AS/400 terminal emulation testing, and that I got.
The interface to this training is very unwieldy. Could be so much better. But for the price, it will do.
The ultimate judge will be in my learning curve. Until I actually use this stuff in the real world, my impressions are from the non-hands-on perspective only. Ask me in a month.
Perfect for those transitioning from Manual to Automation Testing with focus on UFT, a widely used tool in the industry now. It doesn't cover a lot of the details but then it's just enough to start learning UFT and get your hands on the tool. Surely I will recommend this course to anyone interested in learning UFT for automation testing purposes.
