Learning great tips and tricks while going through this course. I've been going through a class for basic 3D modeling for 3 months. It definitely helps being able to be more hands on then, but I definitely feel I've learnt as much with this. I'm not even half way through the course, either. I'm honestly curious why some of the tips, such as vertice merging, wasn't part of the content for my class. I'm really enjoying modeling, and glad to have found a good resource for self study.

This course is really good. If you want to learn 3D modeling this course will teach you a lot. The instructors modeling process will get you used to many 3D modeling fundamentals. And he throws in some advanced techniques here and there. I know the instructor is a 3D modeling professional, but he really caters this course to beginners. I am an aspiring 3D model armature to become the best professional 3D modeler in the world. So there is a lot of stuff in here, that could be done better. But I feel this was intentional because this is a beginners course. Definitely something you want to have in your library. Plus the subject is awesome. I too want to be a world premiere military 3D modeler.

Very good course. A lot of good tips and techniques. Really looking forward to the texturing, UVing and low poly follow-on courses.
