As expected
so far good and fit for purpose for the most part. When I completed the initial lessons and started trying out, I found that some very critical information regarding the installation has been skipped and around lecture 18, there is jump to My SQL topic and from then on it has been fairly okay. If the above is corrected and updated with info like suggestion to install the latest version (since it is about 4 years old, then the class will be really effective and to the point) ...no other issues....very helpful except for a minor issue I mentioned earlier
The featured instructor I feel provided relevant content, professionally presented. Unfortunately, when I took the course, he no longer had any connection to Udemy, or whomever. This lack of continuity caused an unfortunate delay in my training.
Specifically, the main and exasperating problem was: 'Section 5, Lecture 18 is a repeat of Section 3, Lecture 5. Unfortunately, the missing Lecture 18 is indespensible to the installation of Joomla.'
Being industrious, I executed a work-around, which enabled me to finish the training.
I'm detecting that Udemy isn't doing enough to audit and certify course currency: this would be my greatest complaint. A similar experience was encountered with the 'Create a 5 Page Business Website With Joomla Without Coding' course: I had a question and never received a response--I'm going to presume that the instructor for that course is also no longer associated with that course. Too bad--gives Udemy a not-so-great reputation.
I need a good series. He provide a training sometimes he is not sure sure what he presented, repeated one thing several times
