Template design seemed like a mysterious black art before I went through this course. Now it all makes sense. Although there is a lot to cover and sometimes the author speeds right through new conscepts and code details. But, the beauty is that I could always rewind and replay. Only thing lacking is nothing about responsive design - think that is going to be covered in a new Joomla 3 course according to an answer by the teacher. Thanks, taught me a lot. Now just to try it out.

Really feel like I got my money's worth with this course and learned a lot. The idea of creating templates from scratch concepts in Photoshop has always been intimidating to me but the instructor really did a wonderful job of breaking into steps that made sense. Explained everything well and I learned a little more PHP along the way... The only negative comments I would have were with video corruption problems I experienced in two of the lectures; I'm hoping those will be fixed. Really happy with this course and can't wait to try out what I have learned.
