Excellent course! The information in this course is really useful.
A lot of key points that I did not know that I will be using in my updated resume and job seeking. This was very helpful.
First off, I'm probably one of the older learners on Udemy. I'm 52 years old, so most of my resumes were sent by mail or I hand delivered them along with an application to a potential employer. I've never learned how to get past the ATS systems, which was my primary reason for buying this course. I do have further questions, such as if this particular resume format would work for me since my line of work is in the clerical field rather than management, etc., and I don't have a college degree, but overall, I get the point. I found this course to be insightful, especially regarding LinkedIn. Although I have a profile, I have never actually used it for a job search or to be found by a potential recruiter, but I will now. I like the fact that the instructor dives right in to the instruction without a lot of fluff or a complete autobiography. I would definitely recommend.
A great course if you are a novice to the job market and Linkedin. A good course if you are a seasoned pro. The bulk of the course is honestly working through exercises in PDFs that are attached to the course. You will get 80% of the value from those pdf exercises and 20% from the lectures itself.
That being said it just takes a single tweak or change to your resume/linkedin profile to score an interview and get a job. This course could be that one single tweak you need.

I must say, this course thoroughly surprised me. The instructor gave out massive amounts of useful information and is willing to help to the point where she gives out her email and a phone number to contact her. I'm going to refer back to this course in a few weeks when I start applying for jobs and see what it helps me land. However, given the quality of the course, I'm sure that I can definitely get at least 1or 2 interviews if I follow the steps the instructor listed. Good course, highly recommended for those seeking a job.
I thought that Jane offered sound advice about job searching. I think that her information is most useful to younger job seekers who are relatively new to the job market. However, I picked up a couple of new ideas by taking the course, as I'm always interested in others' job searches and advice they can give.
The worksheets are incredibly helpful for anyone at any stage in his or her career. I fully recommend this course.
