A primer to the LEED rating system for interior fit-out projects

This course is approved for 0.5 GBCI Continuation Education (CE) credits. After completing the course you can report your credit towards LEED credential maintenance.

LEED v4 Interior Design and Construction (ID+C) is one of the most popular rating systems for interior fit out spaces. It provides project teams who may not have control over whole building operations, the opportunity to develop indoor spaces that are better for the planet and for people.

This basic course will give you a high-level understanding of the LEED ID+C rating system, its goals and structure and the different credit requirements under it. By the end of this course, you’ll be able to assist project teams working on ID+C projects.

  • Determine project eligibility for LEED ID+C certification

  • List LEED ID+C prerequisites and credits

  • Enumerate key performance metrics as per LEED ID+C
