JavaScript (also known as JS) is one of the core pillars in developing for the modern web. It allows you to define how users can interact with your applications on the client-side and can also be used to define the server code.

Javascript is one of the major components of building web applications. We have HTML for deciding what the content is, we have CSS to decide what the content looks like, and then we have JavaScript to provide interactivity to our users.

JavaScript is still a programming language, so in this course we’ll introduce you to the basics and show you how to get started integrating JS in your applications!

very very very basic, introduction to programming.
expected a lot more for introduction, this is like a teaser ad, which is not what it should be. browser based tools should be explained more. Tools used should be shown and/or pointed to in a link. ELSE
set appropriate expectations.

This is a nice intro for a beginner in javascript and programming. The instructor was very good at explaining things. One issue I saw throughout this course though, is the fact the instructor often used the technical terms for things (which is nice) without actually directly explaining them (not so nice). Sometimes, a term was explained indirectly, other times not. An example of that would be having a whole section for primitive data types without ever explaining, even briefly, the term.

Gave basic information but presented it well. I think this was a good way to reinforce what you may have started using freeCodeCamp or Codecademy.
