The course is good so far, however there can be more cultural sensitivity in talking about musical instruments from different traditions. Calling non-western instruments 'weird' is not appropriate in this day and age. This was quite uncomfortable to hear as a music educator.

Ничего не знал о создании ремиксов, и на моменте "создать новую последовательность аккордов" мой мозг уже взорван! Вероятно, не для всех это так, но я поражён!

I don't know when I purchased this course but I recently noticed it in my course list and decided to take a peak. Now I want to point out that I actually hate leaving negative ratings, and no offence to the author, but boy was I blown away by the low standards of this course.

When someone who puts together a course like this, complete with umms and aahs and awkward pauses, as if it's a livestream, and a couple of videos in says something like "to be honest I don't know what this does", you know this is a dud course. The quality is barely above "hey I have a YouTube account and I know how to use this software, so I'm by extension an expert, so here's a so-called tutorial, and oh also btw I'm actually not an expert so please bear with me, lolz" level stuff. I’m not joking.

If you want alternative suggestions, here are a few really good ones.

1. There's a guy called MusicTechHelpGuy on YouTube. He is a Logic Pro X expert and a music educator of many years. He has put out countless videos, and for free. There's an entire series that takes you from the beginning to the end. All very well edited with sufficient levels of detail. Did I mention his YouTube vids are free?? Amazing!
2. There are other really good tutors too but they are on paid websites (see below). One prime example is a guy called Eli Krantzberg. He is amazing, although a bit dry compared to MusicTechHelpGuy. Nevertheless his knowledge is astounding. He sometimes posts on Logic Pro Expert.
3. There are also two excellent video sites, the first called Groove3 and the second on being Mac Pro Video aka Ask Video. Both are amazing and quite professional, in spite of the price. MusicTechHelpGuy aka Joshua Carney is on Mac Pro Video / Ask Video, while Eli Krantzberg and others are on Groove3.

I highly recommend checking them out. You are far better off even paying for one of the sites above, even if it is just for a month or two, and just going through all the videos as quickly as you can.

Disclaimer: I have no personal or professional connection to any of the above, including the original author of this course, and I’m not getting any compensation from posting the above. Just want to make sure that the standard of courseware is higher than this one.
