He advocates not using password managers at all. Other than that the course keeps it promise by delivering a realistic way to remember a password. At the end of the day everyone needs passwords those supposed to be known to themselves only. It gave me ideas worth my money. It was just painfully slow.
I had just been close to giving up with my own passwords and wanted to buy me a password manager. But I'm so glad I haven't started that yet.

For the websites that force you to change your password frequently, the running number logic is a bit impractical. As you could technically forget where you stopped last and unless you remember the running number too...
Secondly, if someone sees the pattern across two website's passwords then they kind of get an idea of how you arrive at a pattern.
Otherwise, some of the ideas are reasonably good
I was doing something similar to what is recommended in this course, but this way is actually a lot simpler and I think far more effective. So I am very happy with what I have gotten out of the course.
Goodbye LastPass
This course on creating & remembering passwords is worth and relevant even today. Currently in some jurisdictions OTP (One Time Password) works as 2nd layer security hence this course may not make big difference if living in those areas. This course is also about three years old without any update, but I felt this course is OK.
Found it easy to understand and develop my own algorithm from Bill’s teaching. Made what seemed an impossibility into a doable task!
