I designed this course to be easily understood by web developers at any level, including beginners. However, to get the most from this course, I would expect you to have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I have not included any complicated terminology so as long as you have the basic understanding of front-end web languages, you will be able to follow along with the development of the Chrome Extension that you will be building.

Included in this course are the images and icons I have used in the lectures but you are free to use your own.

Because this is not a beginning course, the instructor stated saying that you need to have knowledge in coding like Java, HTML, etc, that the person should take another course first to understand this one

Great introduction course with great pace. The instructor speaks clearly and in a uniform manner, and with some appreciated jokes here and there.

Note: When the course was made, version 2 was still accepted by chrome. Since January 2022 version 3 is used, and with it came some changes so small parts of the code must be changed in order to achieve the same result. However, I am certain that the instructor is currently busy updating it.

Thanks for a great course!

Solid beginner course on the steps needed from start to finish for building very basic chrome extensions. Would love to have seen more material on using external APIs like weather data for example or sports scores...something easy to pull in. Other than that, great course for beginners!

Resource file that would include options and best practices for the manifest.json file. I like the pace though and keeping it simple. It would be good to have a file to go back to and reference with this additional information as a resource.
