Most web monetization courses are about "secrets" that are not real or are fuzzy logic. This course makes sense and Jeff does not oversell himself or the content. This is the best course I've take in the last 12 months.
They give a decent explanation of what Google AdSense is and how it works in an introductive format. However, my complaint comes from when they review the different functionalities. The information is fundamental, and you can find it on Google Support (AdSense Help) for free. Plus, very brief mentions of custom channels and lacks information about optimizing for better bids and creating URL channels to gather better insights/data. Lastly, I'm disappointed about the mentions of the plugins they use. Unfortunately, the plugins haven't been updated in 1-2 years(Easy Plugin for Adsense and Ad Injection), which is risky when it comes to website security. Ultimately, I wouldn't recommend this to any beginner. You can find the info on your AdSense dashboard and reading basic articles on this.
